NIFO is Sweden’s oldest company in the industry. We have been active in minigolf since 1986. The company is owned and operated by Johny Forss, who started competing in minigolf in 1973. Individual championship titles, both nationally and internationally, are on the list of achievements. In 1992 we began selling and marketing our competition course “NIFOBANAN”, and now we manufacture both recreational and competition courses.

No other company on the market today has sold more competition feltcourses in Sweden than NIFO. Abroad, NIFO has built many courses all over Europe. In 2008, the European Championship was played in Finland on courts from NIFO, for the 2009 World Cup in Denmark, NIFO was the supplier of 2 courses. The 2010 European Cup and the 2011 World Cup were played on facilities built by NIFO. Many national championships over the years have been played on courses manufactured by NIFO. In 2025, the Champions League will be played on NIFO Steel in Holland.

The first prototype of the feltcourse of the future, NIFO Steel, saw the light of day in the fall of 2009. The first courses with this new construction was built in 2010. In addition to several facilities in Sweden, NIFO Steel is now also found in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Switzerland and the Netherlands. In 2011, NIFO, together with PARK i Syd AB, also began building adventure golf courses that are marketed under the brand name “SAGO”. See more at www.sago.se
